"Perfectly located by the Lake and the Magnificent Mile", close to lots of shopping and dining, this "better-than-most" outpost boasts "a homier feel" than many large establishments and has "reasonable" prices for the location; though "not a luxury palace" by any means (rooms with "uncomfortable" beds "need updating"), it "has everything" you want, including a "friendly staff", fifth-floor swimming pool that almost "overlooks the skyscrapers" and a fitness facility "beyond compare."

Old! You could easily tell it was remodeled to try and look more appealing but was not tastefully done at all!

Doubletree's being part of the Hilton family are usually a bit more upscale, this one was not at all. Very disappointed!

Their literature advertises a pool, the outdoor pool, is of course seasonal. The indoor one was closed.

I thought that the hotel was very well taken care of.
The walls in the rooms were very thin and we could hear our neighbors in the next room.

Everything was great. But the walls are too thin for good privacy. We could hear our neighbors on both sides of us.

They actually gave us a room with a view on the 22nd floor!

Doubletree Suites on Ohio was impeccably decorated in modern colors and designs. The staff was friendly and the view was amazing!
